We are a small gilding and woodworking company located in Stockholm, Sweden. With our videos we want you to be able to get a little glimpse of how these old traditional crafts still is carried out in our workshop. In them you can follow the process in the making of a frame or a furniture, to follow the work of an object from the wood carving process to the final gilded result. As you can see we are specialised in custom making everything from frames to furnitures and the objects are all handmade using traditional techniques. We can offer you a large range of traditional models from our library or make a reproduction of a already existing piece in your home to create that uniqe set of pair or we ca work from a photograph to create that object that you desire. Carving the House Targaryen dragon
The Wood carving of the House Targaryen sigil from Game of Thrones. The sigil or coat of arms is carved in oak for the structure of its grains and to create the feeling of a rough meieval somewhat torn object. After the carving was compleated I stained the Wood with two different nuances of black to make the dragon stand out from the background and finaly I applyed some Linseed oil for protection.
The Three-headed dragon that is the sigil of House Targaryen represents Aegon the Conqueror and his two sisters, Rhaenys and Visenya. And it could also be seen as a fitting match that Daenerys (Khaleesi) hatched Three dragons of her own in the ritual fire.
The House Words are: Fire and Blood

Beautiful work. A true artista at work. One question I have ... I try gilding and have some difficulty. Why is it that when the adhessive is applied thoroughly it does not help the gold leaf stick? I use the Mona lisa brand.
